Missfire problem

well before you give up on the motor, sometimes the cylinder walls can be washed from all the fuel, remove the spark plug and put a bit of oil directly into the cylinder about a 2 spoons full, and see if the oil can help bring compression back up

its worth a shot, but either way if i cant fix the compression then ill pull the engine and rebuild it over the winter

Well i actually have boost missfire.
I can actually see my boost gauge flutter a slight bit.

Its common for rb’s to do this. Alot of the gtrc guys also recommended to get brand new OEM’s instead of going splitfire as well.

i had this problem when i had my gts-t i just changed my plugs and it went away. Hopefully for you it wont be a big problem.

Yea i’m going to heat range 7 and getting new coils.
No sence in hiding a problem that will come up later on.

well looks like im bringing my car in for an engine swap 1650$ for just the engine no wiring harness or maf sensor. hopefully this will fix my problems

1650 for just the motor?

get 150 more and i know someone with a full motorset and tranny, including pretty much everything else needed for an sr swap…150 for a shit load of extra parts? why not.

Ah well but its 1650 installed in my car so its not a bad deal. Plus i plan on selling the car when its running 100%
