MIT: Carbon Dioxide Irrelevant to Climate Change [now the Climategate thread]

Its funny how the green movement loves its facts.

Even when facts are bold faced lies or the facts are based on " adjusted temprature readings" that all were adjusted many degrees in some cases for no reason at all.

The fix is in, but many are too blind to see it.

I love the HOPENHAGEN signs that were obviously professionally done but they try to make them look like grass roots spray paint. LMAO.

Since plants thrive in Co2 rich environments, and they turn co2 into oxygen, would that not help balance itself out eventualy? I know that many farmers with greenhouses actualy pump co2 rich air into them to aid plant growth. Just a thought.

I was reading something today in the paper, and as far as the 2,600 “scientists” or whatever that claimed global warming is a national crisis, less than 10% had any background in climate studies

I’ve also noticed that about 95% of “omg global warming is going to end the earth” shit on the internet are all created by bloggers, and their “scientific” data is that of other bloggers lolz

If you’re looking for specific articles, im sure there are many scientific ones, but doing a simple google search, everything is from blog sites, which i believe google is organized by most “hits” ? So that being said the general population is being educated by people that have no idea of what they are talking about

There used to be 20 times the amount of carbon dioxide there is now and plants thrived and were huge. To me that sounds like a better planet. Let’s face it, it is not really about the planet, rich people just want to save their ocean front property.

+Karma

Honestly, I care less about the idea of anthropological global warming and more about national security, energy independence, technological innovation and environmental preservation.

I feel that there are strong arguments either way, but personally I would rather not continue polluting the environment if there are workable alternatives available.

I also think we should reawaken some ideas regarding cold fusion. If that could be legitimized and proven, it could be the solution for many of our energy problems.

Just because I love posting Fox News links and picturing Jam and Pirite slamming their keyboards in anger…

The loss of arctic ice is indisputable. We’re not talking about some funny temperature numbers that can be statistically warped. There is real photographic evidence of this.

Lol. was just reading some .org site for global warming, it was talking about co2 emissions and fossil fuel consumption since the industrial revolution, and they had an advertisement for a truck getting 18/21 mpg :picard:

^^Who do you believe though? According to Lord Monckton the levels are roughly the same as there were 30 years ago.:gotme:

Apparently there has also been a drop in average temp per season since 1998?

yeah, watch the video I linked in post # 98 if you haven’t yet. good stuff. lol

Temperatures have risen less then 1° C during the past 100 years. During the period 1900 to 1940 temperatures were increasing. Then from 1940 to 1980 temperatures were decreasing. Currently, temperatures are increasing back to about where they were in the 1930’s. Overall, the total average annual temperature increase in the U.S. in the last century is so slight the actual amount is uncertain—maybe 1/3° C

CO2 in earths atmosphere:

1/10th of 1%. Most CO2 comes from natural terrestrial and ocean biologic activity, and compared to former geologic times, Earth’s atmosphere today is arguably “CO2 impoverished.” There has historically been much more CO2 in our atmosphere than exists today.

perhaps a biased article… but still

Blue eyed, u will like what its the top right corner lol

With all due respect, Lord Monckton is not a scientist and not an expert.

^He claims to actually look up the facts from the original sources but, like I said who do you trust? We need to start doing the research ourselves I guess.

^ Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes

^ I will let you know when I get back from the North and South poles.lol

Hahaha, that’s such a fantastic idea actually. Although, you would have to go regularly over the course of many years to document any changes taking place.

I just want to fulfill my dream of chasing penguins across the ice.

I get the ski report everyday from Jackson Hole and I just wanted to let everyone know that they have already gotten more than 10 FEET of snow this season.
