Global warming, it is heart attack serious…
Scary.
Global warming, it is heart attack serious…
This is from NASA, if you want to believe those hacks…

What is “Temperature Anomaly”? Is this just the difference between the annual and 5-year means?
I also wonder where measurements were taken. I’m sure the urban heat island effect has been corrected for, but it would be nice to see this broken out by location.
Like I have said in the past NASA = Never A Straight Answer.
Lol @ nasa caring about global warming
I’ve heard from different people that they had been collecting data from areas rich in co2 (near valcanos, highly poluted cities, etc, and using those for their figures. I agree though. I’d like to know where they are taking the readings. different areas have different weather spikes.
Sure, that graph looks serious to anyone who glances at it.
But that map ends at year 2000. In the first post of this thread you’ll find this:
Google the sources at the bottom of this 2nd chart.
The problem is we can’t just take a small snapshot of historical data and come to a solid conclusion. Should we be writing laws based on this or sending millions of taxpayer dollars to developing countries to help them “solve this problem?” That’s the question people are asking now.
No fucking way. That’s one of the most ridiculous arguments in this issue, IMHO.
I do believe in some form of climate change. I’m not sure of the causes, but I do know that if we continue to pollute the way we have, bad results will come of it.
However, this whole Copenhagen effort has become laughable.
China, currently the largest emitter, doesn’t want to commit to anything in writing…
African nations, who are not large emitters, want billions of dollars given to their already corrupt regimes… For the first time in the history of the continent we have every national government speaking with one voice and it’s only because they all see dollar signs.
Land Rover is buying stoves for Africans that are more efficient therefore burn less fuel.
The entire thing is a joke.
Millions of people die in African countries (as well as others) every year and it could be prevented but instead we are spending what could be trillions of dollars on something that may or may not effect us in 50 years? There are several other green problems that could be addressed now if certain governments weren’t strangely obsessed with carbon dioxide. Maybe it is not strange if you have stock in Goldman Sachs.
Talk to some real enviornmentalists that aren’t paid by a government and see what they think.
CHART WARS!!! FRY VS ONYX… .GO!
The whole thing has become a big joke, which I guess is the best thing that could have happened. Hopefully it causes all the “settled science” to get reset and go back to theory and speculation so we can stop trying to write public policy from it.
This.
And this.
Seriously though Goldman Sachs has invested huge money in the next bubble: sub-prime carbon credit scam. Of course so has Al Gore. In the next few days/weeks/months al Gore’s popularity should make Tiger’s look outstanding.
Fry can not be trusted. His entire career has been focused on stealing
air from the atmosphere for profit.
