people hated VWs since mk 3’s were brand new. mk 4’s are a joke that just made the hate worse. regardless of your opinion of the show scene, the mass mindset there isn’t really forward thinking.
Well my grandpa owns VW of Orchard park… So what ever you guys say… he busts his ass for that company.
VW’s are VERY good cars, when left stock…like most other cars.
Autohaus has probably the best service out of any dealership I know of.
Every VW i have owned had 0 problems that were not brought on my self.
When kids start throwing stupid bolt ons their cars and they get a CEL there is no need to dis the car.
Trust me, I hate a lot of modded VW’s. and I hate the fact that most vw owners think they are the shit.
VW’s are semi-luxo econo cars. and will always be that way.
I personally see no problems with the new jettas/gtis.
a 2 litre 4 cyl. that produces 200 hp/ft-lbs
and gets upwards of 32 mpg
and is a nice…respectable car and costs under 25K.
I agree with newman that most 1.8t owners are dumb and think there car is so fast… but to dis an entire manufacture on just the fan club… idk…:repost:

the only thing i’m going to agree with is that your grandpa busted his ass to build up a respectable dealership that does fantastic work. from personal experience, i can’t say a bad thing about the place.

STi = One of my favorite cars to drive in the world.
TDI = So incredibly practical.
There are supposed to be many more manufatures entering the diesel game within the next few years. When they are released, they better offer hatches. I hate sedans. I also hope they offer somewhat base models too. I have no need for leather, GPS, ESP, blah blah blah in my daily. AWD might be nice if it doesn’t kill economy too much.
yeah i <3 my sti alot but having a much lower or no car payment would be nice. Every few months i toss around the idea of getting rid of it… Then i cry a lil.
Volkswagens are nice daily drivers and I wouldn’t mind a TDi, modding however, just becomes more trouble than it is worth.
