Aggressive stock turbo STI tune on 93+meth.

04 WRX with STI shortblock, HTA68 at 18-19 psi, larger TMIC (getting SUPER hot during pullls), ported manifolds, catless uppipe, turbo back exhaust, upgraded BCS.

You guys are really taking charge over there :tup:

Thanks for posting up charts, mods, and conditions. It gives a good idea of how cars can or should run. And makes it worth dynoing (other than from baseline) because it takes out all the BS from seeing #'s from multiple different dyno brands and locations.

Same tuned stage 2 compared to a stock 08 STI:

Here’s an 06 STI with GT35R on a stock engine. I got a bit aggressive with the AFR to make sure it wouldn’t knock if it got a bit lean as this car is used for lapping, then backed it down a bit.

And since it’s going to be tracked on a big course (Calaboogie) I did a 35 mph 3rd through 5th gear with high load on the dyno to test for knock under harsh conditions. Here’s a video:

Retuned Matt’s S4 for meth injection. This was the last pull, then we backed the boost down a pound to where it makes just under 350 whp. It was 330 whp at 20-21 psi.

I had no idea he was on a stock engine with that high of mileage! wow, impressive :tup:
