my friend’s ipod is not connecting to the computer. it will charge but is getting a sad face. his friend randomly gave it to him and said that it was in perfect working condition.
i tried restoring it but nothing helped.
any suggestions?
the sad face means that it’s done.
i had the same thing and apple gave me a new one under warranty.
Oh great emo electronics. What will they think of next. 
sad face = dead most likely. If its under warranty, call Apple and get it replaced. If not, toss it. If you are bored, gut it and check out the internals 
haha the kid has a mini so i think i’m going to convince him its done and to give it to me…then i’ll operate on it. :snky:
