hey guys
while searching for some new rims for my car, i came accross these… and guess what?.. they come in 4 lug!.. with decent offsets and sizes! just thought i’d share…
im not really sure about the clearence issues but they come in many different setups, but for us 4 luggers… (they have all the same for 5 lug too)
i’ve done some research and the 17x9 + 24 will clear z brakes, but couldnt find anything about clearance issues for any of them… anyone know anything about these rims?
they sort of look like the Sportmax rims, but with much better offsets… they are heavy as hell though!
i dont think they come in gold, ive seen gun metal, gloss black, and chrome… gold or bronze would like nice though…
1010tires.ca has them, for like $220 per rim for the 17x9 +24 which isnt too bad and the others arent much more expensive but i think i would run into some clearance issues, i dont want to have to do any major mods to make it fit if i go this route…
i have an s14 with h tech springs which have a pretty mild drop (1.2 f and 0.8 r), i was also thinking of the Falken Hanabis, but i’ve heard very mixed reviews on them, but they do come in a nice setup as everyone probably already knows lol…
i was looking at those when they were for sale! lol im not sure if the 17x9 + 20 would fit in the front without any issues, the rears will definitely clear, but i dont want to pull/roll my fenders. i was thinking of going 17x7.5 +32 for the front and the 17x9 +20 for the rears, 1010tires.ca has then for around $850 CDN shipped for that setup.
Really strong light rim, chances are its designed for circuit race. (te37?)
Really light, wide rim, chances are its designed for drag race. (weld drag rims?)
Wide wheel with low offset and cheap and disposable, chances are its designed to be cheap and good sizing so poor drifters can go out and buy 3 sets and stretch 215’s on (motegi leet drifto rim?)
Big heavy shiny wheel designed for racing at DarkNights (…?)
