Well it’s winter and I’ve been getting the itch (herpes is a hell of an STD) so I thought I’d begin the winter projects for the bike.
As of now my plans are:
-Pazzo Levers (brake and clutch, shorty)
-HID Retro-Fit Bi-Xeon housings
-Powdercoat wheels
-New bearings all around
-CCT adjustment
-Valve adjustment
-LED swap for the cluster
-Coolant flush/Oil Change (most likely not till spring)
-Heated Hand Grips (depending on $ situation after everything else)
I’ll keep updating this as I go along, with pictures of progress as well.
Right now, I need a number for powdercoating, preferably local and quality finishing, Clarence Metal Finishing on Wehrle doesn’t have a number posted so if anyone knows it that would be awesome, thanks!
c and s custom powder coating. 7250 goodrich rd clarence center . guys name is chuck palmer. he does great work, but you will have to bring him just the wheels. he doesnt disassemble them. 7418124 or 5368243
Click and Roll Levers (Decided against buying Pazzo, not worth the money IMO):
In Silver
Now I just need to wait for the temperature to go up a bit, 14 degrees in an unheated garage is untolerable for me, plus I’m not risking breaking any tabs/whatnot.
nice mods for your to do list, after you have projector hid’s and levers its a lot more comfortable ride because you can see so much further and your not grabbing those bulky oem pos levers. one more suggestion thou, …rear sets make a world of difference in the comfort of the ride as well just an fyi
