Geeze

I’ma rattle can that thing HARDCORE if dats what the customer wants!

.

that would be sick.

No thanks. Capital Region Customs is here to specialize in a few markets and that’s it… the powder coating is something we want to do in house since the turnaround time and expense to subcontract them to the only other competitor around is just not a feasible option. We can get our parts done as we see fit, when the work comes in and asks for it specifically, we can turn it around completed in a reasonable time at a more than reasonable cost.

The anodizing would be like the stickers stuff… cool to be able to do when needed, but never going to make money on in the long run so its a distraction more than an asset. Heck the only reason we even advertised the sticker stuff is to get a few things printed here and there to help pay for the materials costs. Not to mention space in the shop for more stuff we dont “need” isnt a smart choice. And lastly time, I would rather be tigging a header than babysitting an acidic solution watching it change colors! lol

FYI for single or small batch parts, you can ship them out to a 3rd party for dirt cheap, there are people all over the net that do it “at home”… RC car forums usually have a member or 2 that do it. DIY “kits” start around $400-800 for materials to even do a simple valve cover.
