motor opinions

i thinking i am going to go 366 iron forged pistons rods etc stock crank roller cam. but i like to hear other opinions

i think Iron block cause stronger if i have to rebuild cause on aliminium if you spin a bearing the bearing is stronger than the block and also i can spray more

also this will be through a th400 on 30" tall tires on spray and 28" off the sauce

402 LS2

one that goes fast.

race gas :boink = :burnout: http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/3570/products/192075/395-LS1-125-1-4340-Forged-Rotating-Assembly.htm

well it depends tho. if your going 402 iron your bascially looking at a brand new 6.0 shorblock nwo you can get a used one and bore .030 and see a 408

a .030 over 6.0 iron block would be pretty strong for the most part

just remember anytime you build a stroker youll have around 7k+ into building it where as a budget motor you wont have as much in it. comes down to money you can allow to spend

bigger is better, 422 ftw

write in canidate

427 ls7

:bigok:

out of the choices I would vote 422 iron block but it is tough to answer without knowin how much you want to drop in this thing.

Not knowing this I’m going to ruffle quiks feathers by suggesting that you hop off the lsx bandwagon and go with a dart 9.5 in. deck 4.125 bore aluminum race series block and build a 430 inch stroker with litle chief 11 degree heads. that ought to send any lsx engine cryin home to it’s mommy.

not really,dollar for dollar LSX>Dart!
