motor swap?

so i have a 79 vette that i drive every day in the summer and its fun to drive but i always seem to want more out of it. im strongly considering a ls m6 swap any advice or suggestions to find a motor/ tranny??

Yea, they seem REALLY high on some stuff and really reasonable on other stuff.

I found a few other sites similar, but nothing worth posting. I’m still digging for what you’re looking for because my father wants to do something similar with his street rod (LSx/T56).
