Motorcycle Help in Pittsburgh??

Ok, I have an 03 R1, and I think the front of the frame, neck is bent down some from a front end accident. (bought that way) Does anyone know of a shop or somewhere local where I can get it fixed? It only has 340 miles on the bike with a clean title, and I feel it’s worth fixing if I can find a shop who fixes frames, and it won’t cost a fortune. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you can find another person with a 02 or 03 R1 and compare frames to see if there are any differences. I dunno about any bike frame shops around here. usually once the frame is touched they total bikes out. Good luck with this. If last resort buy a new frame and swap parts over

I have thought about buying a new frame, but I’m not sure how that’ll work with the VIN number. Plus buying a new or used frame on ebay goes from $500-$1200 dollars. If I can get my frame fixed for $500 or less, that would save me the trouble of swapping everything, plus my VIN numbers all match. This is why I’m trying to make this my first option. There is a company known world wide that fixes frames and wheels by computer, but the closest one is in Ackron, Oh. That’s why I’m trying to find something local first. Thanks for the replies.

akron is not a far ride a few hours from pittsburgh just take 30 west

to get to arkon dont take 30 it will take longer. jump on the pike and it should only be 1.5 hours total. just remember this if you get your frame straightend it will be weaker then it would be new. For the simple reason the metal was stretched and now is going to be put back in the stock location. its not like they are steel they are aluminum

Thanks again for the replies. I think I found a place local. Wicked Cycles on 51 near the mall say they have gigs to fix frames. I have to take it out there tomorrow, so hopefully they can fix it reasonalbly. Thanks again for the help.
