ROSENDALE, N.Y. – A Poughkeepsie man was issued 14 traffic tickets after State Police said he was caught going 193 mph on motorcycle.
Around 8 p.m. Wednesday, a state trooper observed Anthony Anderson, 28, speeding in the Town of Coeymans.
The trooper gave the bike’s description to other patrol units, and Anderson was stopped in the Town of Rosendale in Ulster County where he was taken into custody.
Anderson - who said he was heading to a hospital in Poughkeepsie to visit a patient - was issued 14 tickets, including one for going 193 mph.
He was arraigned and sent to the Ulster County Jail on $1,500 bond.
When My mom was in bad shape at a hospital in Springfield MA I got a call that I needed to get there, and in a hurry. I Jumped into the car, picked up my aunt and started FLYING to the hospital. Was hitting triple digits in that little elentra. Cross over into MA, and its getting dark. Dont even notice that pulling through some slow moving cars that I fly by a trooper. He hits his lights.
I have some legal issues from damn near 10 years ago, that boil down to me not having driving privileges in the state of mass. Cop obviously pulls me over, and literally comes up to the car laughing. After hes like WTF?! I tell him what is going on, he asks for my moms name and where she is. He comes back to the car and tells me to get there ASAP, he’s called ahead and given me “the courtesy of the road” but to just be safe. I gave that car everything it had, think I got it up to the 125 range or so. Made it from rensselaer to spring field in like 50 minutes, with getting pulled over
somebody told me the other kid that boasted he could do 200 mph when he was busted doing 186 or whatever is still sitting in jail because he couldn’t post bail. awwwweee
