Motorcyclist Killed today.

That doesn’t say much for the rest of NYSPEED, since you are in the top 5. :gtfo:

Its not so much the number of biker fatalities per day that is shocking…but rather the fact you are 30 times more likely to die riding a bike than driving an automobile.

31% of biker fatalities were under age 30, 20% age 30-39 and 49% age 40 and over. 75% of the accidents involved a bike and a passenger vehicle. And in about 2/3 of those accident, the driver of the other vehicle violated the bikers right-of-way.

Bikers share the road with too many incompetent drivers and always lose if there is a collision. This is the exact reason why I don’t own a bike.

Oh I don’t know. I also have a ton of book smarts. I know all sorts of book stuff like the capital of Thailand is Bangkok, reducing the gain on a PID controller reduces overshoot, and people from California tend to be a bit slower than the rest of us.

Glad I’m not from California.

fucking LOL

This thread is weird.

i really do not care about other bikers dying unless its someone on here or atleast an aquaintance

In elementary school, many students are taught that it is incorrect to start a sentence with the word “because.” The reason why teachers perpetuate this “white lie” is because young students will often write something such as, “Today I went to the park. Because it was sunny. I had a swell time,” and think that it’s correct.

When students later go on to middle or high school, they will often adamantly correct someone who correctly begins a sentence with “because,” and they have a hard time accepting the fact that they were misinformed for so long.

This article shows you the steps to properly begin a sentence with “because,” and discusses the linguistic reason why it can be correct to do so…

It sucks when bikers die. Unless an article like this was on my street, or I had to watch it happen, it does not make me feel anything.

LONG BEACH - A motorcyclist was killed today in an accident on a freeway transition road in Long Beach, authorities said.

The crash was reported about 7:30 a.m. at the transition from the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway to the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, said California Highway Patrol Officer Jennifer Connelly. The victim died at the scene.

According to the preliminary report, the victim was thrown from his motorcycle and ended up on a street below the transition road.

As for FRY… he used to be bikerFRY and to be fair, his oxygen is not that high of purity :stuck_out_tongue:

WTF? Did someone say BikerFry??

I wish people didnt have to die but every motorcyle person should take a biker training course ever 3-5 yrs. know ur machine and know how to use it.

:deadhorse2:

Gain = Proportional term
