Moving to Memphis...

On Friday I interviewed with Pinnacle Airlines in Memphis, Tn for a dispatchers position . Pinnacle Airlines operates CRJ 200, 50 passenger regional jets for Northwest Airlines. Well as of today I received an offer of employment with Pinnacle which I obliviously accepted. I have to be in Memphis on August 4th to start training.

So other than Beale St and awesome BBQ that I have to Fedex back to Jeff every other day. What is there in Memphis?? Is there a board like Pittspeed in Memphis??

So my Best Friend moved to Memphis about a year or two ago to be an air traffic controller. That is an interesting place. Its pretty scary in the city down there. Really ghetto.

I went down there once and the cool thing to do is to go out on the mississippi and do some gambling!

We also went goofy golfing once and the fee for the place was $2. We were the only white people at the whole entertainment complex and they didnt make us pay for anything. Kind of odd.

Good luck with the job but you might have some culture shock.

Have to take a riverboat. I think it’s called the memphis queen. I rode it years ago and love it. took a family vacation and the Memphis ZOO! is worth checking out
The Mississippi river is focking huge in Memphis, enjoy the paddle boat.
