Looking to buy an mp3 player, but I need some advice on which one to get. I’m pretty sure the 4GB one is the size that I want, just want some advice on which brand/model to get. So if you could list the pro/cons of your experiences with a particular mp3 player, that would be great.

i just got the phillips go-gear 6gb, i love it, it does everything i need it to and was under $200 bucks

With the phillips, is the battery removable?
no…if u want comp. to this then the best one to get is the “zen” mp3 player, there is diff. gb amounts and the battery is removable. it got great reviews, thay one was my second choice. good one with decent gb amount is about 260.00msrp

They are fine, but seriously, jsut get an iPod for $50 more. You can have 10x the storage for very little more cost. It has a more natural interface/ control scheme, and they just plain 'ol rock.

Personally,I like players made by creative,iriver & sandisk.
The non HD ones,with no moving parts.

i just got the sandisk e140 for christmas, 1gb flash and upgradeable to 3gb. i think they are like 90-100 bucks. removeable battery and it seems like it only weighs as much as a AAA batt.
I’ve seen the Philips one… not bad looking. If you don’t want iPod… check out creative or iriver for sure.
