Muh New Raize CaH (56k meh)

So this purchase came to me as more of a impulse buy, but for so many reasons which I wont go into explaining, it is a very smart buy also.

I planned on running in NASA’s and/or SCCA’s Spec Miata series next year but after receiving the advisement from a lot of members on here in via this thread ( http://nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57452&highlight=spec+miata ) I decided it was best if I held off the purchase until I had a lot more HPDE’s under my belt and knew for sure that I wanted to run in this class.

The problem was that before I even made the above thread, I made a WTB thread on specmiata.com looking for a fully built or close to fully built SM at a low cost.

The car below was the first car that was brought to my attention, and all my decisions of not buying till spring were thrown on the backburner due to the deal I got for this car coupled with the quality and condition it is in. I paid around half of the value of the car, the seller was some wealthy guy who lived in Bumfuksville Michigan who dint wanna store the car for the winter.

So this Saturday I grabbed a Uhaul trailer and made my way out to The most North Western part of Michigan to grab this steal of a car. She has only ran one race season and won 1st place in the GLD regional. Here she is… (see bottom of thread for specs)

And the best part of all… 3 sets of 13.1 lb 15x7 wheels with

I feel this is everything I need to be a Raise Cah Drivah for at least one season lol.

HOLYMOLEY

nice car

Whoa, nice buy!

Nice!

Got enough cars in the driveway?

Spec has more in his driveway LOL

hey their! nice car buddy

did you go through canada? If not, I would of put a few miles on it

Thanks guys

Yeah… I did go through canada and thats where we unloaded it. I put 30 or so miles on it, but if you can see the camber and the fact that all the tires I had were r comps… Not the best Idea to drive for much more than that… not to mention I had an awful hangover from the night before and the car had no insurance or reg lol.

i like it

Wait, whose STI is that?

Mine sadly lol… thy shall never run right… ever

his

edit: why do you have leaves building up on that car
edit2: my old neighborhood! i miss my old how!

Its about to go away for the season.

so you took absolutely no advice from that thread lol… oh well good luck

he can drive the miata at HPDEs until he feels comfortable going into a spec miata race…

which thread was that?

Gotta read man… even if I try one DE or class and hate it, I can still sell this at at least a 25% profit, probably more like 40%.

An investment was just one more draw to the car.

when did you get a job @ ingram?

July… I made a thread about it asking how it was working there and I believe you responded in it even…

Your car is even hotter in person btw

congrats man. should be fun to drive that big go kart around
