True story :rofl
jeez! LOL
Shot with HDR-AS15
nice
ouch for that bagger:(
lol the ducati driver looked like he decided he was going to get off the bike and walk away mid lean into the turn. Idiot
Is it just me? Or do the riders look like they are leaning a Hell of a lot more than their bikes?
yeah he’s looking at 4k of damage odd’s are if he takes it to a dealer. lol
Mullholland has become squid central thanks to these videos. Evey LA butt nugget who thinks he is fast hits mullholland now hoping to be in a video.
Also you are right the bike is leaned further over due to the rider not getting his ass off the seat. The more you are off he bike the less lean angle you need to make the turn. because your weight is holding the line by been on the inside foot peg. Where as too these guys are holding a lean with the bars which is a mixture for a crash.
That Honda owner is a better rider than me by the looks of it, and he crashed.
(I say this because I’ve never gotten that low, mainly because I don’t try to be that stupid on the streets)
But with that being said, I too find myself counter steering through the turn.
I can tell by looking at him he is a left hander rider. I have the same problem my commitment to a left hand turn is far better than my right.:rofl
if you get a look at my Q2s since I don’t ride as hard as i used to on the streets you’ll notice my chicken strips are lower on he right side than left.
because the bike has to lean over more to make up for me not being far enough off the bike.
My guesses he ran out of tire, or he adjusted himself slightly on the bars.
Once my turn begins I try to commit and be as loose/ relaxed on the bars as possible any steering changes upset the bike and can lead to a crash. Pick your line and stick to it. I say. ::lol
My issue is finding a line… Especially on blind turns like many going up around the lake. I think this year I’ll have to have you wear my GoPro so I can actually see how I ride and how much of a vagina I am.
I know I never ride anywhere near hard going around the lake, because I’m scared of cops. They must know by now that that is a very popular bike route.
I think my biggest issue is that I use counter steering through the turn too much, and not enough of my body weight to drive it through.
If you have that issue, there is actually a logical & technical explanation on most sport bike rider that have this problem. It had to do with the throttle being on the right and the sweep of the clip-on which cause and awkward kink on the throttle hand wrist during hang-off if you normally grip your throttle dead square to the throttle like a hammer; which restricts throttle action and not surprisingly limit the amount upper torso hang-off forcing your bike to lean more due to restriction of hang-off during right hand corners.
Rather than holding your throttle like a hammer, practice relaxing the grip and holding it more like a screw driver, so your throttle action is less of a wrist action, but more of a arm action; which will eliminate the kink at the wrist for better throttle control during hang-off.

Ironically enough I already do this. :rofl
I had this huge explanation of my riding style but the laptop crashed. :lol
Well then, if it is not physical and mechanical; Then it is psychological…:ponder
I’d wager so.:rofl
All these people missing the turn, yet only uphill.
I have never seen a single video of someone wiping out going the other way.
You’d think this place would head-on collision central.
