mmmm a syclone :burnout:
mkIII Supra FTW! Cheep 1jz/sorer clips go for 3k.
ethier that or a sc300. Always wanted to do a 1jz swap in that car.
blazin do you have problems findin parts for you Ty?
all my GM buddies who’ve owned Syclones have said they’re a biotch to get parts for. Plus the whole thing of rebuilding the motor, and trans.
We’ve been over this a thousand times. no.
you needto stay away from any gayass projects. get something quick, realitable and something that can easily muster 13s or more. and dont tell me a car has hit 9s so thats why you want one. if only a few have hit those times that tells you something. get a 240 and be a wagoneer. atleast when you break you can relate to others and they might have parts for you
i like the sc300’s with 2jz’s in them but an ls1 in an sc300 would be hottness
anything with a LSX is hotness, look at the pinks ride
only way a pink 240 is cool is with a ls1 in it
you get this
or this
want this in a droptop
i can spray mine white, its still for sale, better buy it quick before this dude from VA beach flys in on friday.
those 10th Anniv. Firehawks are undoubtably the nicest LS1 T/A built, there were only 6 of them at the Nationals last year. (and about 50 30th Anniv. T/As)
if you could put an lsx in a blowup doll you’d do it. plus a 100 shot
L67 fiero…easy low 11,s or high tens with just simple bolt ons and under 3g,s total;)
i got one of those for sale too (stock)
too much money, urs is too pretty to cut up:love:
Parts arent really that hard to find theres alot of vendors online that sell just specific sy/ty stuff(you just might pay a little more $$ thou), plus alot of things are normal s10 items which are easy to come buy. As for engine/trans yea most ppl drive them really hard and never monitor there engine for detonation. The Trans really just cant handle all that torque when you start adding mods- turning boost up,higher stall tq converter etc. with a few mods you will be in the 12s very easily and be pushing almost 500ftlb of tq. Another weak point is the front propshaft, when you launch theres so much stress on it(plus its 15 years old) they usually break. Sy/tys can be fairly reliable if you do alot of preventive maintenance, as in monitoring kr, beefier propshaft, large trans cooler. But theres alot of other little things you will have to deal with too, you just really have to own one to understand:D
