yeah, the windows are pretty dark… but i opened the door and put my hands out immediately, trying to be the least threatening as i could. I recognized him and thought he was going to act way differently than he did. I knew his first name, or atleast they call him Jay Jay. Apparently he didnt make the same connection.
that is a good idea, i know some of the other guilderland cops so i’m going to see how things play out until my court date, after that… once i pretty much have to hire a lawyer, or defend myself maybe i’ll take it to them. So that way when i go for my plea, i’ll let the DA know that everything from that point on will be included in the article that i go to the times union with.
So, you get a ticket for windows winted because your rear window is tinted but yet they thought you were running? Perhaps I have some sort of brain but all of the facts suggest it’s not as cut and dry as the cop thinks.
well like i said he wrote the tickets as if i was greg, and if greg was there… actually running, and driving without a license i could understand all the tickets. but it really did happen as i stated… so i have no idea why all the tickets stuck.

can you get ahold of him, and have him, or you get his information to me? i’ve been screwed by other lawyers the last few times i had to go to court, so i’m finding someone good this time. not only good, but cost effective good. i paid this one guy $500, and he showed up late and i talked to the DA myself and got it reduced. Then he insisted i pay him, and i was young and stupid.

make sure you tell ur lawyer that. it might be leverageto get them ALL thrown out, or at the very least redused ALOT

swift the tint, exhaust, failure to comply will get dropped, im sure a good lawyer can get the unsafe and prudent and the reckless dropped as well… the arresting you thing though seems harsh and with out reason, it was under the suspicion you were greg and since you had no license on you he could have given you an AUO… bad situation for sure. and a costly one at that. but the tint and exhaust, all you would have to do is go to the county clerks with proof that you do not own that vehicle you were cited in and they Should drop them.
yeah i’m trying to be as cost effective as possible, but i really do not want my record to have anything else on it. so i think i’ll plea not guilty, get my court date, and see what they offer me without a lawyer (after talking to a laywer to see what they say i can get it reduced to) and make a decision based on how much money i’d have to spend… and how much more they could get it reduced.
