how many special edition mustangs are there?
I’m pretty sure there are more special editions out there than regular ones. The only requirement is that it’s considered a limited or special edition car by either ford or the company making it.

what about a hertz edition gt500? there was one at my work tha tthe guy claimed was a real gt500 it was a auto though and said hertz on it? is that like a rental supercar type of deal?
its not a GT500 just a GT…its labeled GT-H (H for hertz)
yeah, that’s the GT-H, I think it’s just a little more than a GT (intake, exhaust etc).
there are tons more… like all the saleen, roush etc…

Not sure what should be considered what, Rousch’s are sold at ford dealerships, I think the parnelli jones cars are made by ford, the turnkey track ford racing cars(FR500’s) are definitely made by ford.
I listed the requirements in the first post… simply has to be considered special edition or limited edition by the company building / customizing.
Okay some dude was at my work today with a new style GT300? I’ve never heard of it personally, I just assumed it had a stock gt motor with some svt rims. Looked hot but what’s up with that?

No such thing as far as i know, prob just some stickers. Ironic that every Mustang I see has more stickers on it than your average Honda these days.
I guess its just stickers, dont forget that a new gt makes 300hp
