Heated garage son! We did hang a few sheets on the cieling last night though.
Unless you are that guy then when drinking has way too many feelings. We all know this guy.

what are you using for heat? my 18K BTU infrared and small convection space heater are getting their asses kicked…i’m tired of “pre-heating” the garage for 3 hours before bring comfortable

Natural Gas. I run it on a thermostat to run 47* at all times. So when I get out there its already 47 and i turn it to 60-65. Takes about 30min to get from 47 to 60 when its super cold. Running a gas line and the heater have made my life so much better. Its the small things in life.

Just closed on our house today! Now I need to install my free unit heater and then have a nice place to work on my car… And also buy a welder with my income tax return! Does your welder do mig and tig? I’m new to welding so I don’t know if they make a machine that can do both? I’m fogonna set my budget to $500 and pray it will get me a decent machine.

I would suggest buying used? but you might need to settle up on one of the China welders at that price point. Im sure they work fine? Anyhow im personally not familiar with machines that do mig an tig. But i cant say I ever looked.
So I am going to send the manifolds and crossover off to get ceramic coated. I am on the fence about the downpipe. I do think polished it would look nice but I also like it as is. Coated might help with heat somewhat. Thoughts?
Hot Shots in Hamburg did the powder coating and ceramic coating on my sled when I refurbed it a couple years ago. It’s in Hamburg (the Southtowns). Not sure if you city folk even know where that is.
I am going to use Nitro Plate in Tenn fo the coating. I just need to decide if im doing the downpipe or not!
I would. Keep as much heat the F out of that bay. Do the hot side too…

come see their shinny stuff, got a set of Angry Matt’s finest done by them. Opted to go with Nitro-Plate after the Rape sex I got from Hot Shots.
I am deff going with Nitro-Plate. Going to do the polished on the hot pipes, hi-temp blk on the manifolds, anddddddddddd maybe polished on the downpipe
If your on the fence about doing the downpipe you should probably consider doing the manifolds and hotside as well. just my $.02 lol
