Stab.
LOL I need to see if that will come off. That shit is hilarious though.
 Maybe with some goo gone it will. I assume you have all the couplers you need, but if you need anything else, or high quality tbolt clamps, or silicone hose boost controller.com located on olean st in EA has some great products
I just bought all new couplers and stuff from my car from them
And I would coat the downpipe and manifolds
Function first. If it keeps heat down, coat it. Don’t worry about that until you focus on the manifolds and hotside, though.
Im considering coating the hot side and manifolds. Thoughts?
do it
:giggle:
I just got mine done by detective coating in velvet black. Haven’t installed it yet. Will be sending my hot side out to him this weekend
Burnouts?
With a build of this caliber it would be nice to have everything coated… That being said, I’m rocking all uncoated stainless on my setup and it’s fine with heat, even sitting in traffic, even with air lines and misc stuff within an inch of the piping.
Just need to watch it if you are going to coat the inside of the pipe as well… anything flakes off, and it will go right into that pretty turbo.
You bring up a good point Joe about coating inside of the pipe. Nitro Plate states they do coat it but I read that and had the same concern.
Although I like how it looks as is I guess ill coat the DP too. FML :moneyonfire:
I wouldn’t coat the inside unless it was swaintech (can be painted over so it’s not white).
Mine isn’t coated on the inside just because ya never know
You sell this yet?
I’m not certain. Haven’t looked at it in awhile? First step is being in the same state as the car.
This build looks awesome. For what it’s worth I wouldn’t trust any coating on the inside pre-turbo.
Thank you and agreed!
This build is taking longer because I hardly work on it hahaha but for that same reason im enjoying it more and im actually somewhat surprised how quick its moving along for that reason.
Well starting the new job really set me back and as you can see no updates in a few months however I am back at it. I didnt take many pics bu we took apart the entire kit and had it coated. Over the weekend I can say “final assembly” has started.
Oh and I made this kit in the middle of traveling four weeks in a row. I love how it came together. If only it was for mine!
:naab:
Nice work man!
i really like the megaphone design of your downpipe. is the silver finish on it final, or is that getting coated too?
