My 1965 Nova II- 8.85@153.5 - Turbo kit FS

Thanks man. You evo guys make me consider dropping some lbs out of this thing. Its up to around 3300lbs with the cage.

Lol, still leaving like a slug, when power comes on it pulls u to the right, out of the groove, which is probably where it spins. Lots more et in there bro

You need to shock those tires and you will be amazed what they can handle. If you have a T-brake on that trans and a 2 step just dial your 2 step down until you see about 6-8 pounds of boost for the launch. They should easily handle that. Ease your way up until they can’t handle anymore and step it back one step. If you don’t have a 2 step it’s a little harder because you have to control the pedal until you see the boost you want.

Of course if you have a boost controller that you can dial down for launch it’s cake. Just set it lower for launch and go!

This is exactly what happened.

T-Brake. The car has made 4 passes so far. Each time I am getting more aggressive on the launch. went from 2.2 to 1.6 in 4 passes. Also from 10.7 to 9.4 I will find out how much it can take at the line next time out.

I know it’s a new combo, just offering some tips. Awesome results already and plenty of potential left.

If you don’t have a licence/cert yet it might be time to think about them.

@DigRacer Yeah deff. I can’t wait to see how some of it works out. Do you get out to Empire at all for 1/4mi?

I have never been to the track out that way but I would like to take a ride out sometime and check it out when you guys are running.

Our closest track here is Lebenon Valley. Maybe next season some of you guys can head out this way for Doc Z’s fastest street car event. It is a track rental event and usually in August. It was awesome again this year and it’s $2500 to win. It’s a no time event with random draw out of a hat so it’s a little more fun guessing what the other guy is running.

Mr Z is good ppl, def makin it out there soon.

Polish Falcons cruise tonight.

I live around the corner from there, il swing by on my way home around 6.30

I will walk over

Where’s this place, anyone still there?

445 Columbia Ave.
Depew, NY 14043

I went home you will probably find a larger/younger crowd at Quaker Steak

Lol well I’m trying to get motivated, and I’m hungry and need to get some food.

thx, do they often have cruises at the polish falcons?

It’s every Thursday all summer long(Goes 2 more weeks I think) its generally an older crowd a lot of nice cars…average age is probably 55+

Worst case if you don’t like it and shoot over to Quaker Steak which is 10min away if that.

it gets dark so early now I decided to say screw it, I’ll try next time though since it sounds good.

Wasn’t bad and some real clean cars. Great seeing you guys. So everyone knows that was the first cruise in 12 years for that gold Chevelle that as near me. It is my father in-laws and he just did a nut/bolt full resto. But he has like 6 cars so it took awhile. #toomanycars #hehas3/57chevysidontunderstand

LZ and I have a hundred bones on this car and the next time its at the track.

Then he told me that you swapped to a 408 motor and bought slicks.

:gay2:

time will tell, good luck man

haha I did not get slicks or put the 408 in. Did you get the side bet from him? I told him to do the $100 for 8s but its only $50 if I blow up trying.

I am certainly going to make a run at it and think it has an easy 9.2 in it. I think 8.9 is very ambitious especially on a setup with 4 passes under its belt.
