This thing is rad!
DOPE
Going to try to get some work done friday evening and sat during the day. Would love to get the front clip fully assembeled and maybe the motor/trans in the car this weekend. That would be great, but quite ambitious.
There is nothing you cant accomplish with friends and beer
true that. this build already wouldnt be where it is without great friends helping out.
Between you and Joey, I’m not sure If putting floors in the house was a better use of funds.
Seriously - that front end pic made me grin.
Front end is almost finished. Have to finish a little bit of the steering, install swaybar, and then hang new inner fenders. Probably a good 8-12hrs. Take a lot more time to setup from scratch then I anticipated.
Tonight I got most everything torqued to spec, installed steering rack, steering column, tie rods, set initial toe, assembled the hubs, drilled out stud holes and pressed in moroso extended wheel studs, installed hubs, rotors, calipers.
Glad a few months ago I grabbed a nice drill press. So nice to have.
Tired
Sounds good
This build makes me want an old muscle car. Very nice work. What kind of power are you expecting when done?
this  if you need a hand drew lmk, ill come wrench and bring some beers
This is coming along nicely, keep the pictures coming.
If only it was an early model. :tspry:
RADULICIOUS WITH GRAPE FLAVORED JAM
I am looking for around 650-700rwhp for now. But the turbo and fuel will be built to handle 1k+ once I change shortblocks.
You should really build one. I am having a blast with it and they can be made really unique which i like.
Will do
I didnt take any of me having fun with the drill press and such but here are some before I finished all the steering stuff.

I still can’t believe how clean this chassis is. No rust. Literally every nut/bolt comes out without drama. Anyhow I painted the rad support which 99% of the time on these older cars is a throw away item. Ifull intended to grab a new one but this one aside from needing paint was in near mint condition.
After paint
Rear diff back together with all new bearings and 3.25 gears. Sitting next to my mildly built glide with transbrake.
So one of you guys with more experience with wheels help me out here… I started to prep the wheels for paint but I realized I could achieve a super cool brushed look. How should I maintain this look? Wax? I don’t want them polished. They look rad right now.
Progress is moving but kinda slow. Im off today and dont have any plans but need some motivation to get out there. Oof.
Steering done
New column…need hub and wheel still.
Everything front suspension wise is now finished
Rad support(will prob need to be cut up) in place
Then…Inner fender panels!!! These are so tits. I need a second set of hands to line things up though before I tighten things so I just set them in place for now
Installed the center section. I am going to paint everything under the car once finished.
This thing is awesome!!!
I am the most amped on it out of anything I have built to date. Love it.
man, this thing is all business. nice work
maybe itd get done faster if some people werent so hungover…
