I have always used Wolfgang Metallwerk Concours Metal Sealant. You need to make sure the wheels are as clean as possible before you seal them. You can wax after the fact with a off the shelf wheel wax.
I know they say “mirror” finish but works awesome on brushed.

I was all set to drop in the motor but dont have the M11 bolts for the flexplate to the crank. If anyone does…that would be great
