Yup, I’d much rather be enjoying a summers day on my bike then trying to get some stupid fucking waste of time project car running.
It was running fine, even took it for a spin around the block, literally. Came back, shut it off, and it will not re-start. It is getting spark, a NICE stong blue spark, getting TONS of fuel, timing is all on, but for some reason it will not run. So, instead of wasting more time, I said fuck it. Whats the point? If I ever got it running again then it would need suspension, then brakes, then, then, then… FUCK it, I want to end it now and move on with my life. Cars suck

If I parted it I’d get more, potentially. But, then i’d have to deal with idiots who say they want something, then think that they can get an engine shipped to Montana for $35, then bail. Plus, I know what would happen, I’d sell some things right away, then have this fucking carcass thats half picked through and less money then if I just sold it as is for a loss. Parting cars BLOWS!!! Everyone wants something till it’s time to come up with the money.

Why really build your cheap shell of a car when you can pay a fraction of the R+D price that a company has sunk into developing a car that is both fast and reliable. Walker got it right.

seriously modding cars just costs so much fucking money, then in the end you get bored of it and end up selling at a massive loss. I’de rather just make payments, beat the piss out of it for 2-3 years, then say goodbye before I get into any major maintenance.
Meh I look forward to building another car in a few years. The real problem is when you are building a car that you want done for the season or quick. The major stresses I had with my rx7 was that I wanted it for this season. But I certainly agree with the anti build club as well. I can’t wait to get something really sweet that I have to do no work at all on haha.
