They are simple design and tanks, mine let go a few years ago, because my dad forgot to add some oil before running it Rod let go.
rattlecans can really make stuff look good if you do it right
nice job
Fuck yeah dude, so many sexy 636’s now.
oh shit dude. I didn’t know you were actually going to use these on your bike! Spray paint will never hold up. Sorry bout the miscommunication.
^i giggled.
Forgot to add this to the original thread…
Ian and I cut down the muffler about 2 inches also (it was scratched and hacked up from the previous job, so I thought I’d clean it up and take a little off)
I cut the baffle down a bit and repacked the muffler to fit also.
AND let me tell you…stainless steel is a bitch to drill through. (Until we realized that tapping it first helped a bunch!)
Yes, that says GAY, because for the life of me I could not seem to cut level
The ER table…
Overall it turned out great, it is completely flush now, no scratches, not hacked up, and sounds amazing
I figured if I wrote something he knew well where he needed to grind it would help concentration. Worked well
pics on the bike? (best project so far imo) lol
I’ll get pics tomorrow for sure
tied with tims? ITS LIKE THE SAME BIKE!
No offense but i like this pipe better than tims, and although tims wheels are awesome, I’ve never been a fan of trying to change out hardware that was engineered for a specific use… ie, 03-04 636…
last shot is rad.
but looked better before
i got a 05 636 swingarm complete with wheel ,caliper, wave rotor master if you are inrterested in doing the swingarm conversion
i dont ever understand why anybody would do that…
do you think your mix and match engineering, compares to the millions of dollars in R and D that goes into these machines? The geometries are setup this way for a reason, also, that swingarm is black, and the frame of this bike is silver… thatd look dumb with different color parts.
not to mention, unless you had a matching front wheel with the necessary spacers itd look even dumber when the wheels dont match.
Yeah sorry man, I’m with will in that one, I’m happy with my bike anyways
Thanks tho
Nice Job!
