R6- Winter Project with pics

Well, I bought this bike from a friend in November of 2008 after selling my GSXR. Ive always like to put my own touch on my bikes and figured I would do the same with this. keeps me busy over the winter and gives me something to do with my free time. I bought it bone stock from him and all the mods have been done by me. So this is where it sits as of now.

-Painted the entire bike Gloss black
-DB dark smoked windscreen
-Vortex sliders and bar ends
-Vortex 520 conversion(black sprocket/silver chain)
-New front and rear Pilot Powers
-New Aluminum tucked plate bracket
-Velocity stacks
+waiting for my M4 GP shorty slip on, Pazzo levers, Greggs Flush mounts and Harris grips.

Next step is tryin to figure out what to do with vinyl, if anything at all.

noice:tup:

All black Yamahas with blue wheels are soo ugly. Looks good man .

you’re gonna want an FI liter soon enough…

lol
looks good though anyway.

guess you dont need me to wetsand/buff out those scratches… Looks siqqq no vinyl!

Not crazy about the blue wheels but it still looks awesome all in black.

I personally think a blue wind shield would really make it pop, but i dont know anything about bikes, would that be rice?

Willy- I bet you money I keep this 4 or 5 weeks and go back to a liter bike.

Slopoke- I still need it wetsanded and buffed. just waitin to finish it completely before I have you come by the shop

Livin4hockey- Im not completely sold on the blue either. Its just blue vinyl strips so can easily be changed or removed.

Looks real good, you’ll have to let me know how you like the velocity stacks, I’ve been contemplating them.

sexy time

i don’t even like black and blue color combos and that looks great. i don’t think a blue windshield would look good. i think it would be tacky. if they are just vinyl strips on the wheels and you want to change them, i bet orange would look great.

Nice. Everything looks so glossy, even the frame sliders

saw this bike with everything done…looks real good, you should def like the m4
