They have completed

  1. new base tranny with act stage 2 clutch/flywheel are in
  2. new axels BUT half shaft is on they way, and they think they can improve upon the mounting plate design. They figure if i plan on making alot of power, it wont hold. I told them that many people are using this set up but they are going to do something a little stronger, i will post pics when they finish it.
  3. Boost/air to fuel guages are in, mechanical oil pressure guage is a bad idea so im going to get an electronic one.
  4. Timing belt/water pump/h23 tensioner/seals are done. Cam seals were shot so they did them as well
  5. Most parts to build the kit are together(wastegate, charge piping, BOV, injectors, fittings, turbo etc)

I guess morgan is starting to build it middle of next week but theres a bunch of turbo kits to build first

cant wait :headbang

one of the nicest ludes ive seen :banana

Lookin nice. I saw it at Synapse yesturday

Looks good brian! I saw it up there yesterday, should be fun.

The plate to hold the axle was the right thickness, but the crummy welds would not let the intermediate shaft sit flat, and the studs were pointing different ways. A new one is being made to ensure that it will handle the stress without failing. :banana

Yeah when i first got that plate i noticed they wernt straight, and wasnt exactly the strongest. Once you guys said “WTF!” Something needed to be done. Most of the people that do the conversion do it to run an obd1 ecu with no atts and usually swap for an m2b4 lsd tranny. For a stock set up it may be ok but this is far from stock haha

Looking good man, now you just need to get the bottom end funds saved up and really have a clean fast car.

I’ll have to agree with some others on the headlights though, just pop them in an oven for 10 minutes or so and open them up, the paint them a semi-gloss black (around the projector area, leave the edges white!).

little bit of an update
