The difference is he wasn’t drafted, he can probably be picked up for cheaper, and they don’t waste a draft pick on him.
So - he’s not like, some amazing player - but they see potential.
He got hurt his 2nd half of his senior year, so lots of teams saw that as a risk.
Man, I wish the Jets picked him up, that would be fucking awesome.

i hear undrafted free agents get a signing bonus anywhere from $1000-$15000 to join a team in camp…thats what i heard on the nfl network…they had a thing about undrafted FA’s

My roommates cousin was picked up after the draft last year by the Cards. He was on the practice squad making $90k with everything paid for. He was “too small” but he packed on some weight and hit the gym all the time. Went #1 in the NFL Europe Draft… Hopefully he will get to play this year.
Hes getting us tickets for a game and getting us on the field and in the locker room before hand and all that…
