I have an olympus point and shoot, the one waterproof 4.0mp one or whatever.
after 2 years of use (not abuse) it doesnt upload pics. like i plug it in, press the “pc” thing on the screen of the camera, then nothing happens.
I don’t know if its just the cord, or if its the camera. I dont have a spare cord, and I assume they’re pretty pricey. Don’t want to buy one if the problem is the camera not the cord
what do i do?
external or internal mem?
if its external just get a reader for what ever card you have an pretend like its a flash drive
yea my laptop has 3 usb ports, doesnt work on any, nor a comp at school
im trying to figure it out cause i dont know the cost of a card reader vs. the cost of a new cable (if that is the problem which im trying to figure out)
what happened on my digi cam is the actual usb plug on the camera took a dumb check to see if everything there looks ok
do this
go to the hayes computer lab. Where the black and white printer is, there are 3 comps hooked up to scanners. One of then has internal flash card readers. Stick card in, and voila!
You can then save to your I drive, or to USB thingy…
i have the small size card, they only have the big joints.
I used my sisters camera cable and it works. where do I get a new cable?
a card reader is like 10 bucks.
What kind of memory is it? I have a card reader that is brand new in box that I never used because my laptop has onboard…

olympus is pretty gay, usually have to call them for a new cord, or swap it with your sister and then its her problem lol
i have the same problem, one of the prongs on the usb connection bent so it says no communication when i try to upload.
