this thing is super awesome. GLWS!

Should be stickied so others know how to make a proper FS thread.

Any idea on power? Looks like a blast.

awesome car for decent price - nice good luck

If you still have it in September need to get wedding behind me.

Big part of the reason I’m selling, hah!

ohhh … im real interested in that

I found out that I am pulling 11 - 13 in/hg of vacuum, but I am using the Tial BOV spring for 16 - 20 in/hg of vacuum. So, I am ordering the correct spring, and that item on my “to do” list above will be taken care of this weekend, or early next week!

In the most honest of opinions, can this be driven 500 miles nonstop?

Well, it would at least need to stop for gas, lol. I can’t put a definite on it, but I can drive it for 30 miles with no cooling issues at all, so I don’t see why not. Once I get the new spring from Tial next week, I’ll be driving it again, and can probably answer that better.

The guy who built thecar, Walt, drove the car for about 4,000 miles on this swap, and it was Wy worse shape back then. The only thing I would be worried about would be cooling, and I drove it last week in the 90s with no issues at all, mega squirt logs were showing <190 while driving.

Back on the road, driving it all this week. Here is a good picture I actually planned to take, instead of just the random “here’s my car in my driveway” pictures:

Almost had the car sold, but the buyer decided against it, so it is still for sale.

The good news though, the interested buyer liked the car, told me he thought it was in better condition (the body) than he expected, and the test drive went great. The car actually ripped pretty good

I hope someone can pick this up that can enjoy it more than me, but in the meantime, I am going to continue to drive it!

Sorry about the late review, I was the buyer mentioned above. I loved the car, I was actually really considering it but found a few different cars closer to my area (michigan). I was in Buffalo for a few days, and I checked out a few cars. This car was number one on my list! It ran solid, and pulled hard and was very easy to drive! Oh and the exterior was just as described near FLAWLESS. I would definitely have picked it up, but I would’ve felt much better having it shipped, an option that I could not resort to as I had to either drive the car home or fly back (you never know what could happen to these project cars ;] ) Thanks for showing it to me and my buddy Mark, good luck selling the car!

Sale pending!
