For the past 6 months my clutch has been releasing at the top of the pedal, so I knew it was on its way out, but I kept pushing it because… why not? In the midst of my half-mile drag racing fun my clutch let go. Specifically, it exploded on a 2-3 shift.

Luckily a friend, with a trailer, was at the event and he took my car to his shop. So the clutch job, miscellaneous maintenance and mods aren’t t being done by me. :alright On the flipside, this shit ain’t cheap. Here are some pictures of the teardown, which is also waterboarding my wallet.
