My EGK Hatch project

Already called them, unless the price went up since then. They told me 236 for it.

price def went up

Eric, just head down to mikes shop, and talk to his parents or sister, they are far more helpful :lol

Talking to Mike is about as reliable as building a DSM. But his sister will give you a break. Tell his dad a perverted joke and you’ll be best friends :nod

Word, got it all setup for Monday morning at there shop for $190.

Sick… your windshield costs less then Stallmers tint :lol

I think its time to post up some progress E. 13.4 @ 103… Lets see the slips! :giggedy

+1 I was just telling him that…

Don’t know if you already have a chipped ecu , put i have a pretty sick tune for a stock b20b turbo set-up on dsm 440… :ohnoes

He has a stock LS now on DSM 440s. The ECU has a base map for his set up but it could be tuned much better. Would your tune work well with the 1.8 or is it too different? His car ran a 107 trap on street tires. I think there is alot more in it. He should be high 12s

looks nice
i think i’ve seen this around

yea , minor changes to the map and it will work great for a 1.8 ls, but i already have a 1.8 ls map from the integra that ran 12.9 @107. I can def tune the car , i recommend having a AEM Uego installed so i can log AFR from the ecu alot easier than me hooking up my set-up. My dad has them on sale now for $200 or something, talk to him if you don’t have one.

I will have to check this out once I have some cash to spread around. I just ordered a new basemap from Chris at Xenocron. I am trying to pick up a 3 bar map for the car now so it doesn’t have a 10psi boost cut.

Well heres more pics of the bay from today. I threw on a Unorthodx crank pulley and tried to make the bay look a little better.

i can burn you a base map, i have burn1 and the romulator. :thumb

Damn, wish I knew this sooner. I am picking up a 3 bar MAP sensor this weekend. I may have you reburn my chip I have if you can. LMK what you would want to do it.

How do you like the Burn1? I was going to pick one for myself.

works great, Ill send you a PM. Its better to make base maps live, the ones they send you always idle to rich. on 10psi 12’s can be done.

I can also burn you a basemap. I do full chipping too, I have all parts instock for any OBD0/1 chippable Honda ecu.

Just came accross this thread. Nice car/swap mang.

Thanks!

Just did a rear disk brake conversion on the car today. I was told I had to swap out the entire trailing arms for the disk one. This really isn’t true. If you have a lift and torch available to you. Its about a 2 hour job :thumb

I do plan on picking up new pads and rotors tomorrow for it though. I just need these to drive home with, lol.

If you want to know how to do the swap, here ya go. I made it into a write-up.

Your avarage out of date drum brakes.

Theres 4 bolts on the back side of the hub assembly that have to come out. There stuffed in these holes.

These bolts SUCK! There a T-50 torxs bit. I went through 2 bits during this swap. They have lock tight on them, so heating them up makes it a ton easier.

Removing the large nut for the axel.

I cut the old steel brake line and ebrake cables, not using them agian. Once the lines are out the way the entire hub/brake assem. comes off.

This is the same exact bolt pattern as the disk hub from the civc ex’s, ls’s, and integras.

I then bolted in the disk hub using the same bolts.

Then went on the rotors and calipers. I also rebuilt the sliders and greased everything as I put it back together.

Lastly I swapeed out the brake line mount for the one off the LX rear trailing arms.

Replaced with this.

Wow looks good Eric.
