Well, I figured i might as well start a build thread since i have nothing better to do at the moment. Most of you know who i am. If Not my name is Matt Stallmer and I drive a 1995 Honda Civic. I was rolling around last year with a GT3076R, Bone stock B16 setup. I made 325whp on pump and 405whp on C16 and ran an 11.8 at 124 at LVD. Towards the end of summer i decided to part ways with everything and get out of the game for a little because of school and what not. Midway through this winter i decided screw that. I ended up getting back my Hatch. Some of you may not know but it is one of the cleanest EG’s in the Notheast hands down. I Have a Stockpile of new goodies that are awaiting nice weather so i can put her together. A Stock GSR motor and B16 Trans will be powering the civic. Plan is to simply drive the car for the summer and, come next fall, go with another GT3076R setup. This time with a Synapse V-Band Topmount Manifold. As well as a basic piston and rod build for the GSR with Supertech S&R and ARP hardware. I Want a very Streetable setup Because I absolutely love to drive the car.
Heres some pics of the goodies. Nothing special at all just basically tune up stuff to get it running pristine. Seeing as how it was 40 degrees and sunny out yesterday and today i decided to put on my Mugen Lip, 6K Hid’s, new suspension in, New Brakes, sweet new door speakers, Completely cleaned the engin bay, and washed and waxed her. Due to wonderful weather here in the notheast, ill have to wait to do the swap and put her on the road in a few weeks. Prolly on my Spring break. to much salt/slush/snow out neway.
Turbo setup was awesome. The kit allowed for way more room to make more power in the future. But at the time, I was rocking a Bone Stock B16. and a skunk 2 intake manifold. thats it. We managed to make 325whp at 11psi. I ran an 11.8 @ 118 On slicks. Towards the end of last summer, i knew that over the winter i was going to be buildin the motor so i wanted to see how much power we could make on the stock B16. Morgan managed 405whp at 20psi on the 30r. We were all worried that the motor was going to gernade but i had no problems with it. I ran an 11.8 @ 124. It should have been a low 11 second pass but we forgot to turn up the 2 step so it boggggggged the launch like crazy. Im looking for almost the same turbo setup again this year also.
