92 si hatch turbo build

Well my hatch build is finally starting to come to an end so i figured i should show my progress. Thanks to all my friends who have helped along the way, and also Joe for his great tune that hasn’t blown my stock motor up haha, and Jeff for his amazing piping fabrication. Well to start off i traded my del sol for the hatch, drove all the way to BFE Ohio to find that the person selling it was just really good at taking pictures. There were a lot of issues, and more rust than i was expecting but i decided to trade anyway. Order a omni pro camber kit though so things should be good soon. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/psychocarne/l_5db2a05b0569115fe810f0b78542eaef.jpg Then we pulled the motor out due to new clutch, lightweight flywheels, ES motor mount inserts, new intake mani gasket, ES shifter bushings, all sorts of money that i dont want to remember it all haha. Also got new quarters put in, and picked up a new fender.

Also around that time she got all new suspension, blox LCAs, tokico blues, and eibach sportlines. Picked up some del sol seats for a decent price so threw them in. Criticism, or comments welcome. Try not to hate too bad as this is my first time ever really working on a car. I have learned a TON and am glad i did so much myself. It has taken a lot of time and money but is so worth it. In the future hopefully i can get some body work/paint. Still working on some small issues, got rid of the ricey steering wheel, going to change slave cylinder, replace a rad hose, and get that camber kit and alignment done ASAP cause right now with that power it is all over the road. Doesn’t look too bad. Skip the camber kit…camber doesn’t kill tires, toe does. Honda’s benefit from negative camber gained from lowering…just get your toe adjustments squared away and be done.

Yeah my cambers not too bad anyway, the only reason i got it was because my upper is blasted, joe can vouch for how scary it was drive with it like that. Figured itd be easier and almost same price to just buy camber kit with uppers in the a arm allready. Need to get some pics of the intercooler, jeff tucked it up nice and tight you cant even see it :).

Haha hey your the biggest hater alive and you even gave me props on it, got the uppers in, rebuilding axles and rear discs right now, frozen calipers and sliders FTL. Cars coming along nicely, put a new slave in and got rid of the grind for the most part, and also once axles are back in putting in some syncromesh. Thinking of selling the daily and getting this car painted, and possibly build the motor. Oil is still above top mark and hasn’t had any added since jeff finished up :). Stripped the slips down and am debating between polished or painting them again. I figure this could be daily status even in winter, its so mellow till around 4K then all hell brakes loose. Picked up a JDM audio console front lip and new cluster for 60 bucks total at a junkyard the other day.

Update

Rear brakes on, axles going back in tom and then hopefully inspection. Also decided to go crazy with the wheels. Orange that is UV, some will hate but i love them. They dont look as yellow in person.

blue is better.
