My Evolution vs. 1996 ZX9 Ninja...

Today my friend/mechanic helped me with a boost leak and afterward we both left his place, he on his new bike and me in my Evolution.

After the rides were warm he unleashed his Ninja and I hit the gas too.
I would say we went from about 40 to 90.
To my surprise there was no kill.
I pretty much stayed up with him after he got a little jump on me at first.
Note: He just got the bike and has not gone through it yet.
Note 2: I had a full tank of only 93 octane.:slight_smile:

So long story short, there was no kill but I put under kill stories anyway.

actually it is a 95. :wink:

and i bet it will be better once the valves are adjusted, and proper jets are in the carbs.

Yeah, a little tuning can go a long way with a machine like that.
I will have to get some race fuel for the next run.
