i was on evolutionM and found this...

from one Auto0utcast on the evo m forum… our very own Travis

04’ PSM Subaru WRX STi

Helix, COBB, Buschur Racing, K-Sport, WhiteLine, Cusco, Kartboy, Goodridge, Yokohama, AutoMeter, Alpine, JL Audio, JBL

291.56 AWHP @ 6000rpms 93 octane
286.29 AWTQ @ 5000rpms @ 16.8psi with faulty wastegate actuator leaking boost and a 10.7AFR
(should have been 22psi)

straight from the horses mouth

just thought i’d stir the pot a little. :tong

check when post was made… lonnnnggggg time ago. pre built block…pre fp green… pre non correction factor.

no. 8/2/08. maybe he needs to update a few things. but its a recent post.

new sig:

04’ PSM Subaru WRX STi

346 AWHP 344 AWTQ
@ 23.5 psi 11.2 AFR 93 octane

did you call your boyfriend and tell him :gay

he needs to get all the loose ends tied and get some real numbers, from a real tuner… if hes at 11.2 a/f hes got room to go on timing or he needs less fuel. either way its too fat

several tuners tune for 11.2-11.5:1 for subaru’s… extra fuel is used to bring down egt’s and cool cylinder temps. leaning it out doesnt do much in the way of making any power. 11.2:1 @ WOT 14.8:1 @ cruise

this is where the original numbers came from in that one sig.

and the resulting info posted on nasioc:

note… stock turbo blew 3-4 days post tune… engine blew 1.5 months post tune.

the rspeed thread resulting from tune as well

blow me faggot :nana :hug i thought we were cool guess not i see ;D

The defense/research that went into proving Brett wrong about that post was wayyyy too much for John. And the grammar was way too good for it to be John.

i’m so glad i’m a member of evolutionm.net. i get really jelous when i see a nice GG SE evo9. too bad the insurance would be thru the roof.

quoted incase no one saw all of it.

and re quoted the entire thing incase no one knew

i dont know whats worse, pete’s spelling or seeing SAE numbers over and over.

my spelling isn’t even that bad.
