My girlfriend totalled her car out. New car options.

Pm’d you

Anyone else have any info on left-over deals or recent experiences to make this a bit easier for her?

Anyone hear anything on Scoobs?

EDIT: Oh, thanks dude… checking now.

I’m selling a mazda 3i 4 door 5 speed with 60k on it.
cars from the south so it hasnt seen salt. has hail dents 8,000 OBO

I appreciate it but manual and the mileage is a definite no. Looking for an automatic with a warranty.

no problem. your looking for something like 08 and newer than?

just a quick search on west herr’s website.

2010 ford Fusion V6.

http://westherr.com/inventory/USED/Ford/Fusion/Buffalo/2010-Ford-Fusion-Buffalo-FH10R512.cfm?tabtrigger=3&Listprice=13558.00&serial=3FAHP0HG4AR120830&downpayment=2000.00&taxinpayment=no&Button2=Go#cgi.PATH_INFO#

used with miles which makes me think it might be a typo on the year but it is possible. just a thought. If you bought one a year or 2 old you could get AWD V6 and have a pretty nice car to rock out for 200 a month.

edit it was a rental but for 14K its not a bad deal.

+1 for a Mazda 3. Mine was super reliable and fun to drive. I’ve heard the 2.0 is pretty lethargic, but my 2.3 had plenty of pep.

Thanks Somedude, although i’m not sure how either of us feel about Ford.

SpasmJeff… lethargic is juuuuust fine for her. The styling of both the int. and ext. are nice, definitely worth a look.

FYI… thanks guys, I appreciate the help. Being newer to the area this thread is helping me in terms of dealerships and potential deals out right now. Good lookin’!

basically.

I have been watching the forums since they came out and they seem to be doing well. The reliability studies have been above camry and accord. It is a nice driving car. The sport is way more fun than the regular one other than the boring shift programing from the factory. There is a guy in rochester that has a tune for the transmission to make it chirp second and third apparently though… not that this is the goal for a girl in school but i thought it was neat.

doesn’t nissan have some cheap deals on sentra?

Honda fit’s are awesome. You can definitely find one used for $200/month if you have a couple thousand down.

Impreza is my next choice for a girl.

I would prefer AWD for shenanigans, but fit’s get super good mpg and have a ton of room inside. Surprisingly nice interiors too. Better choice for a girl in my opinion.

i just got in a 2011 chevy cruze. basil on como and transit were giving 5000 off new cars. good deals over there, i got a new car for 12k which is what i was looking for since im a fulltime student

why is a lease not an option for her? IMO that is the perfect fit for someone needing a car and their needs could totally change within the next couple of years

imo the new 2011 hyundai Elantra is an absolute steal, traction control, stability control, kickass looks and the warranty for 10 years!!

This.

or tell her to walk.

A Chevy Cruze for 12K new might be something to look at. Aren’t those based off euro chassis? 6 speed auto, car looks good and get 36mpg! DANG

I guy I work with just bought a cruze, pretty nice car actually. The new fusion and focus are both great cars too, definitely the best cars ford has produced in a long time.

yea the cruze is nice, handles real well. i got the 6 spd manual which is also nice. I like the interior alot, and for that price u really cant beat it

I have never been in a cruze but damn that seems like a great deal.

You were able to get brand new cars for sub 10k with that deal, yeah cobalts and aveo, but brand spanking new…

Cruze is a European platform, right?

How’s it compared to the Cobalt? More refined?

maxwell pm me!!! how about a nice car with a 10 year warranty and 3.9% and $4000 grand off!!!
