my garage is 28 x 32. I didn’t want a post in the middle of it. when this is down it’s out of sight and I can roll anything right over the top of it. I can also lift 1 side at a time and use it as a bike lift with a wheel chalk. a used 2 post would have been a cheaper option and a lot less work, but when this is down it’s out of my way and I like that about it.
ceiling is just shy of 10’ and floor was 6" deep (now 10" under the tables). It really only comes down to having a giant pol in the middle of my garage.
the tables pick up on the pinch welds so breaks, tires, suspension and all that stuff is fine to work on. It doesn’t restrict anything on the s2k. I have 32" between the frame rails and that’s plenty of room for transmission work, exhaust etc.
yea i figured the arms swung to the pinch weld, the pics are really deceiving it didn’t look like you’d have 32" between the two table tops. that’s awesome. The floor pic was also really deceiving, it sure don’t look like 6" of 'crete!!!
our garages are very close footprint wise.
