It’s a 2002, just have a someone with a cable and a laptop tune all the ready monitors to permanent active, and shut down all CEL codes on the damn ecu. Solves that CEL issue permanently.

Change primary o2 and fuel filter and at the same time clean the MAF.

Got a cable? :rofl 02 and FF will go in tonight.

Krazy, you’re getting way too in depth man! The CEL is on, car is in open loop so it won’t even be using learned fuel trims if you were to check.

In open loop the car will run rich, like someone else said, it’s “safe mode”.

Thats exactly what we were looking to confirm. Neo, I figured that as much but dont have access to any ODB2 cables for subarus to verify.
