I think I would go insane sitting at home so much.
I think that I could only work from home if I had a lot of trips/meetings / reasons to get out of the house.
I would have daily gym “lunch” breaks.
+1
Today however I felt like battling all the idiots in Virginia who don’t know how to handle snow.
Been a good slow short day.
When I do it it gives me the excuse to do shit around the house that I slack on otherwise. Cleaning, simple repairs, etc. I took workout breaks, but needed to to make up for having the kitchen right there while bored all day.
Yeah I’m based at home. I am technically a “field tech” for my new company but I would say i will do about 80% of my job from home. If i want to go to a site i can but for the most part it can all be done when I’m in bed if i wanted. I can see why people would get tired of this but so far it rules. I’m no longer salary and i get paid 8 hours no matter how much i do. Once i get more accustomed to the job I will be traveling a little bit but I’m kind of looking forward to that.
Yeah but I am a dick that works from home
lol orbby…you silly goose
x2
Its nice some days if I need quiet time to work on specific stuff but it gets old quick. I get more done in the office to be honest and since I have a company car and gas card, its no sweat off my back to drive in esp since I come in anytime between 7-9 to start my day.
update!
My boss wants me to write my own review since he has never met me and he works in cali life is good.
I drive an hour to work, but get to fly planes. Fair trade.
jealous.
I want to work from home. I would save so much time and money.
What kind of job do you do if you don’t mind me asking?

no face time, means easy to cut!
I never get work done when I work from home. I can’t wait to move up to an office so I can put louder music on though.
eff working from home.
I shit at work. Do you know how much I save a year in tp? I bet it’s more than your 10% after taxes.
(I drink a lot of draft beer)
I work for tickets.com, I do field work for them. All my clients are local but once in a while they ask me to fill in in another city but all of that is expensed if i have to go.
