get R done
pretty…im saving for my own plus a new lsd…to finish off my drivetrain
that’s the most overrated, pathetic, stupid saying ever to catch on. Fucking rednecks
btw: nice driveshaft
:eek2:
thanx gettin R done next week lol
x 2
whats the point of a 1 piece driveshaft? is there some sort of performance gain or do stock ones have a tendency to break? I’m guessing thats whats up since I know you are going for big HP.
stock is weaker i belive b/c it is a 2 pc driveshaft…soo a soild 1 pc will prob hold up better under high rpm launchs and what not…i belive thats why :dunno:
less u-joints to break
replacing u-joints > replacing driveshafts
the stock one really isnt bad.it is 2 piece tho so that takes away from the TQ numbers.so with the one piece higher TQ and i can launch higher without really breaking it.its made of steel and weighs 21 pds where as the stock weighs 34lbs
 no wonder those cars suck stock
those cars would be badass at 3,000# :boink

with the right mods these cars can be very fast.there is a guy in california state that has an auto runnin low 10’s full interior he should be in the 9’s this summer.and there is a guy named joel that lives up in state college thats building a drag 300zx TT convertable. one day when the funds are right ill be in the 10’s
thiers a lady i seen in north hills last year near CCAC. That was driving a bright red vert. I guess those are kinda rare:dunno:
Interesting facts about the car. Never knew too much about them. But what makes them so heavy? I can see there is a lot of potential otherwise.
yea there isnt really to many out there.and u cant go buy KBB is to what there worth either
1.the 2 seats are leather so there is a little weight
2.the all wheel steering (hicas)weighs about 50 pds but can be removed
3.the doors on that thing weigh a ton
4.the ttops weigh about 25pds total there was a slick top version in 90 only
5.there is a buch of things u can remove on the car to make it lighter.they have lightweight batteries.u can remove the ac.carbon canister.egr system.change the power steering to normal instead of hicas.change out the seats,u can get these cars to around 3200pds.there is more things u can take off and switch around im just not thinking right now
Very nice cars indeed:cool:
but i’d still never own one
not much if any heavier than a Fbody or Mustang. The rear suspension on them blows for drag racing. They suck to work on too. But twin 16G’s and those bitches will scream.
