ok upon further investigation the MR package and SSL package were not available together but you could get a GSR with the SSL package but if its vin says MR then i doubt the sunroof came on the car.
ya im going to call the place tomorrow and ask about the moonroof, if it has a roof i will not be following through with the purchase, if it doesn’t i will be going thur to evaluate it and hopefully pick it up
That’s def an MR with a sunroof. You can see the two vanes that run the length of the outside of the roof that shows it has the lighter aluminum roof that came on the MR’s (the ridges were added for strenth).
Why are you afraid of an aftermarket moonroof? Do they leak?
most aftermarket roofs are put in differently than stock, not to mention the roofs structure is different

Yeah the MR aluminum roof is flimsy, water will make it deform. IDK who would do that though, pointless.
ya idk, i just mean if im going to be financing a car i want it to be something as reliable/nice as possible, especially when it comes to evo’s it all depends on who owned it and how it was maintained (as well as the mods etc)

so it does have a moonroof (aftermarket), the guy has sold numerous evo’s and assures me its at least oem quality… guarantees no leaks or problems

Every salesman guarantees that shit. He’s obviously not gonna tell you that it does/will leak or that it’s of shitty quality.
well since its not a private sale and he is selling it at wholesale he really has no reason to lie imo… dealers are generally honest with other dealers
