im not new to modifying cars, just new to evo’s, currently in my driveway I have an rsx-s that im going to sell that has 250whp NA

my plan is to get it do a couple supporting mods and get a tune

nice looking car, congrats…

and what did you have to do to get 250whp out of a k20?

its a k24 with aftermarket pistons/rods (11:1 compression) header, intake, 3" exh and kpro tune

those wheels are enkei RPf1’s, no idea what hood that is, but its fucking hideous lol.

as far as i can tell, it has some aftermarket IC piping going on. looks like the battery is relocated to the trunk? also has SUN hyper force ignition. id talk to the previous owner/dealer and ask what is done, if they know…

i thought they were rpf1’s but idk maybe im just not used to seeing them that big

ya im not a huge fan of the hood but figure i could always sell it and who knows maybe its worth good money

i think the intake says monster power on it

dealer was some “hick” that didnt have an idea of what it was, we are buying it wholesale (my dealer) and im going out to pick it up thursday. if it doesnt check out i will just walk away, thats why im trying to get to know some things about the car before i go out

Those aren’t RPF1’s but cheap replica’s. It’s the only sorta cheap thing on the car from what I can tell but it looks pretty clean over all.

lol, that intake is expensive, like almost $500 .Looks like it was overnighted from Japan.

http://www.monster-sport.com/e/parts/intake/air_intake_duct/index.html

No they’re not.

from that monster website it also looks like the hood is a monster hood

whale penis intake of the honda world lol

I dont know if the car has anything of these things yet but…

ported manifold
downpipe
exhaust
mbc
new intake w/ just a filter or w/e
stock o2housing/open dump?

get a tune, i think TPG is pretty close to you, and enjoy!
all those parts can be found relatively cheap on evom

mudflaps <3

why does it have a sunroof? clean title? are you sure its not the SE?

vin states its an mr, i called mitsubishi to double check, it may just be a reflection looking like a sunroof

clean title yes, no accidents etc listed and mileage checks out

im blind then. both pictures looks like its got a roof, could be aftermarket add on i guess. just when you go to check it out watch for the 4th gear grind.
Its wierd some one spent so much on CF bits and ignition system but stock turbo? im betting its tuned as well. cant tell from the pics but hope there is atleast an aftermarket exhaust too.

Wheels look like Kosei K1 TS.

definately not a stock exhaust either? or maybe aftermarket muffler. It has a sunroof. It could be the SSL package depending if you have leather interior or sound package, if not its an add on

Theres no SSL package as far as i know on the IX’s. It could be an MR SE it has the 6 speed if it has red stitching on the seats its an SE plus it looks like it has the lip from an SE too (could be aftermarket though). It has aftermarket gauges too i saw them in the last thread. See what clutch it has with that few miles it should have the stock one. It looks like relatively safe mods but that doesnt mean at some point whoever put all those carbon bits didnt put a sick gt42r on it or something lol.

interior pic
where would the moonroof switch be?

and it doesnt look like red stitching

Yeah that is not an SE. If I was you man, I’d go take a look at the car very well before I close the deal if you haven’t already closed it. Make sure the VIN matches. It’s easier to swap a 6 spd in a GSR then to put a moonroof in an MR.

SSL was available in the IX’s.
