My new truck finally here (6.2L inside)

So back on 2/24/14 I placed my order for a 2014 Raptor SuperCrew, got my VIN on 4/8 and finally had a build date of 5/1. My dealer called me yesterday morning that it just arrived and they would be doing the PDI. I’ve wanted one of these trucks since 2011 but had other priorities/house projects first, was it ever worth the wait…absolutely love it.

These things are killer. Deceptively quick with the 6.2 in it, although romping on one in traffic makes you feel like you’re in a boat with prow rising.

Yes we have chatted, almost pulled the trigger on Terrain but the white still had my heart…lol
I’ve been a member on there for a few months, such great info on there and do plan on hitting up some events.
Picked it up from West Herr Ford out in Hamburg, whole family has been going there 30+ years (My dad has knows the sales manager). No dealer has ever come close to beating or even matching his prices.

I think I remember you were going to go the electronic cut-out route for your exhaust, but decided on something different. Did you ever test fit and listen to it?

No 2015 raptors, and still only speculations that it will pick up again in 2016.

Sticker with all options put it just under $59k, base was $48k. Walked out at invoice price which saved me +$5k and added a 7yr bumper to bumper for $1k, ford only includes 3yr/36k. Seeing there are over 15,000 parts on this truck, getting the 7yr was a no brainer for that price.

Out in California/Texas they are going for 10-15k over sticker…CRAZY
