i guess 98teg is looking into a bmw also

nice pick, the car looks good!

neither are my car washing skillz

 very nice!!

Nice car, you wont regret gettin a bmw:wiggle: and as far as some speed you can also put on a nice remus or b&b triflo exhaust and a chip,–if you dont wanna spend too much money.

First move should be to get the better euro lights… Nice car though, have been looking at them for a little while.

nice buy

cant go wrong with a bmw

i realy dont plan on modding it to go faster. it doesnt really matter what i do it will still be slow. car runs 14.7 inthe quarter according to Car and Driver, or some other magazine company. i could mod the shit outta it and be lucky to get a 13sec pass. unless forced induction but then reliability goes out the window. sooo, its just gunna be a cruiser and ill probably only be doing cosmetic/ suspension mods.

you can go FI and still keep it reliable. superchargers are the best way. you are right about modding NA though. lots of money only buys you modest gains. which is why my car will get nothing until i feel like ponying up the cash on a blower.

ddont get me wrong, ive looked into turbocharging. making my own kit, however i havent really seen anything promising for ems. I dont really know what the bmw guys use to tune. It seems like everyone who owns a bimmer throws there money to company like AA or something to do it for them. Ive always done things myself whenever i can, and refuse to pay thousands of doallrs for a tune i could easily do myself. If anything i would pick up a spare block and build it, cause if im gunna boost im gunna go big and not waste my time/money doing things twice. However right now i have my civic to gimme my speed thrills when i need it.

Only if your performance metric is the 1/4 mile or 1/8th mile…

My oh shit handles do a bend-and-snap deal. It’s very saucy.

that must be an e36 thing, cause all the e30 guys (m excluded, those guys always have money) do all their own stuff.
get a chip, header, exhaust, and m3 cams and that will get you a little scoot for not a lot of money. then slam it and enjoy it.

or spend 4k on a supercharger

chips dont do much on OBD2. intake, exhaust, yea its an option, but again the gains arent anything out of this world. and cams are expensive because we have 2. set of M3 cams usually sets you back over 1k.

what i really want is a Euro S52 for mine  instead of the pussified US version, mmmm…double vanos and 321hp

are you aware of the trouble in swapping cams?lol I looked into it already and it looks like a big pain in the ass. renting special bmw tools and shit. ughhh, if only everything was as simple as a honda.

anyway, definate mods that will happen are rear differential swap. mine is geared wayyyy too low and open differential just sucks balls.

apparently theres some sort of gay valve that automaticaly feathers my clutch for sissy drivers who cant drive stick. I will be removing that so that my clutch feels like a real clutch and can start chirping gear shifts.

MAYBE AN EXHAUST. Probably nothing off the shelf but custom made so i can tailor how loud it is.

after winter I will be droping it and hopefully have money for some different wheels.

anyone have any limited slip diffs laying around??? lol

excellent point…they tend to do fairly well in auto-x and road course…ask Holly

hmm, ive never considered autox or road courses. sounds like it would be fun. especially since im getting rid of my 1/8…1/4mi car.

try and find a diff out of an M3. a 3.43LSD will really liven a 328 up.
