do they sell any aftermarket grills to replace the saturn one on the front?
PM me some more info. I’m new to tunes since this is the first performance vehicle that has less than 8 cylinders
It’s still under factory powertrain warranty. Does a tun void it? I do work at a Chevy dealer so I have connections in service.
I was looking at the GMPP turbo stage 2 upgrade
Working on my 69, the Sky, my dads 57 Chevy, and my father in laws 71 Vette. All the family cars
It’s not bad. I’m 6’ tall and you get used to it. Just hard to see the traffic lights. Top town, perfect
I’m not sure. I’ve seen some people with the Opel trim, but not much of a variation from the Sky. But these were custom.

I had to do a lot of searching. They range for a 2008 from 21k to 26k if they have under 36k miles. Get a 50k mile car and they drop in price. I only wanted the 2.0 turbo edition of it. Prices have held very good on these. decent investment / fun factor
Love it!
I’ll PM you some more info later but tune will void the warranty if its on the car and if they wanna be pricks. If you know them you shouldn’t have any problem cause we could do a write entire back to stock if you had to get any work done. I would get a 3" catless downpipe and a HP tune and call it a day. It sounds great that way and will be quiet till its WOT and you would be around 320ish whp 350ish TQ for about $500. DP can come off in 45min or less if you had to take it in for work  If you have any questions feel free to ask cause i have done a lot of research on the LNF.
My mom has a 6 speed turbo. Don had it on the lift for a timing issue but other than that it is a fun car.
Edit: it might be a 5 speed but regardless it is easy to shift and fun to drive
Love these
Seems like an awesome ride.
Needs moreMallett
Love these cars and really would like one for a summer car, but probably not for a while. The redline is definitely where it’s at for a stock one, and i can appreciate an Auto if it makes the wife want to get it too.
I’m liking these more and more.
I was behind dirtye30s (I think he owns it…?) on Transit over the weekend. It sounds AWESOME with the exhaust on it.
Looks like a lot of fun, minus the autotragic, but I understand why you went that route.
I miss having a convertible.
Let us know what you do for mods.
Right now my mom just has the Opel shorty antenna, but wants clear sidemarkers and maybe a windscreen.
As for as power, goes what does GMPP offer? I thought they offered a tune of some sort.
Had it for less than a week and over 250 miles on it. This car is damn fun. I never thought I’d own a performance vehicle with less than 8 cylinders.
Yea, the antenna is obnoxious. I’m looking into the shorty instead. Looking at a windscreen too. Still looking at what body mods are out there.
As for GMPP, here is a link to some info on the turbo upgrade kit
http://www.gmpartshouse.com/19212670-lnf-turbo-upgrade-kit.php
The LNF Turbo Upgrade Kit was designed by GM to be a true performance bolt on kit. When this package is properly installed, it looks like original factory equipment. The fact that the parts have been designed to GM Standards ensures a quality product. All of the fasteners required for installation are included in the package.
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) calibration is a key factor in both performance and drivability. This Turbo kit has its own unique specific calibration designed specifically for each LNF Turbo engine, used in the Sky, Solstice, and HHR. The package has been calibrated to GM standards, and the package is emission legal in all 50 states. As part of the calibration process for this package, the LNF Turbo engine was tested on a dynamometer to develop the base fueling and spark requirements. All of this testing is necessary to develop a package that meets GM standards for performance, drivability, and durability.
Power gains of 30 horsepower (22 kW) and as much as 80 lb.-ft. of torque (108 Nm) are achievable with GMPP’s Turbo Upgrade Kit (part number 19212670, MSRP $650). It fits vehicles powered by the LNF 2.0L turbocharged engine, including the Cobalt SS, HHR SS, the Pontiac Solstice GXP and Saturn Sky Red Line.
The power boost ratchets output from 260 hp (194 kW) and 260 lb.-ft. (352 Nm) to 290 hp (216 kW) and up to a robust 340 lb.-ft. (461 Nm) - turning already potent performers into certified powerhouses. Torque levels vary, depending on the model and/or transmission.
NEW OS + NEW sensors break the 22 PSI barrier, allowing up to 29 PSI…
Solstice SKY HP & Torque ratings:
290HP @ 5,200 RPM
MT 340 lb,-ft of torque @ 3,600 RPM
AT 325 lb,-ft of torque @ 3,600 RPM
“No Lift Shift” Feature
Shorty was real cheap.

Thanks for the link on the upgrade. How much do they charge at a dealer for a reflash? I doubt she does anything soon since she was not a fan of the check engine light and how long it has been in the shop. Thankfully the powertrain warranty should cover everything.
As for body mods, I haven’t seen anything I am in love with. Hard tops give it a cool look but she only drives it when it is sunny.
Thanks for the antenna link. Just ordered one.
I work at a Chevy dealer, so I am connected Just wanted to get used to the car as it is stock and go one upgrade at a time. Thinking the turbo kit and exhaust to get me about 300-320hp is a good start.
I was looking too see what Opel parts I could use on it.
Nice buy and I always wanted one.
Nothing wrong with an auto
nice buy! Still miss the wifes. Traded it in with 891 miles. Should’ve kept it.
i have a dd and a weekend car and so does the wife. suck it bitches.
Honestly glad I got the auto. It’s a smaller car and based on past experiences with a Porsche, Mini, etc, it’s tighter with the clutch pedal. Kind of a pain in the ass in the city.
Should’ve kept it. Awesome car.
We both have a daily and a fun car. If I lived down south, it would be a different story.
