it was a nice afternoon for a putt…
Do you ride the pan at all?
I love that bike
no it needs base gaskets and the linkert needs to be rebuilt… its quite leaky
Sell the other one and fix the pan. Having a pan and not riding it is like dating a stripper for financial planning advice
He definitely doesnt need to sell the other bike, he just needs to be less lazy!
It’s a Sportster. He needs to sell it.
Hey, what’s wrong w/ sporties?!?!?!
Also: It’ not a sportster.
I really love the damn thing. Started out a soft tail, yellow… ended up a chop with some nice touches.
If I wasn’t a cheap POS i’d buy it if he considered selling it. He knows I wont tho.
You probably don’t need to rebuild the linkert, just replace/adjust the float (use a cotten brand float, you have to email him liberty@npoint.net, he’s awesome)
It’s much better than the rubber ducky.
not a sportster. not for sale.
perhaps thats all the linkert really needs but i agree that im just too lazy to deal with it right now.
its not going anywhere…
Well it’s a Harley that is not a pan, shovel, knuckle, or flathead. Thus, very lame.
I used to feel this way. @XwalkerX , among others, have slowly been turning me on this opinion.
Lately I have really been enjoying the Rusty Butcher bikes. It makes me want a new sport 750. Flat tracker style.
oh Richard…I understand that the British enthusiast in you just cant fathom the thought of having a bike so reliable that you can just hop on and ride where ever your heart desires BUT I assure you its far less lame than you think…
I’m not going to fall for your bait and call the Norton a certain word, but, I’ve taken the Commando on sales calls to as far away as Clymer NY and it didn’t result in a AAA call. Changed out the tap for the reserve side of the tank at I’m taking full advantage of the 7.something gallon fuel tank.
i just picked up a new pair of Flanders handlebars and a used riser setup with some longer dog bones for the evo…
(terrible ebay picture)
I think I’ve already decided but what does the peanut gallery think?
Current setup
2" over current
4" over current
6" over current
I like 4" over. 6" looks like a bit much
that’s what she said.
I like the second one but I think that might be because the camera is back further
What did I tell you when you sent me this? Stay with your current set up.
